Showers for the Soul
Someone likes to luxuriate in a warm bath full of scented foam, and someone thinks that only a shower can bring that cheerfulness and vitality that are so necessary.
Most people prefer to combine the two procedures: they prefer shower in the morning and relax in bath in the evening. The optimal solution for these owners is to install in the bathroom both bathtub and shower. By the way, we can name several good reasons on which the bath complies the shower: first, the shower cab takes up less space, and secondly, shower saves water five times less than the bath.
In addition, you can take bath only when it is filled to the brim with water, and showers can be taken from the moment that the water pressure is turned on. Finally, the shower saves space, moreover, it is considered more hygienic way, unlike the bath, as the dirt and soap are wash off with the running water.
Showers are open and closed: the first fences off the shower area not completely (a shower wall is housed between the walls), while the latter is completely closed on the perimeter and even has a roof that doesn’t allow the steam to leave the room. Of course, that the closed cab is more comfortable and much more expensive than the open.
Doors of the cab are made of glass: transparent, opaque or rough. The sliding doors will take less space in your bathroom and single or the double-hinged doors will take more space. When choosing a shower follow the dimensions of 80 × 80 cm, otherwise you’ll be limited in space.
Trays for cabs are made of steel, ceramics, iron and artificial marble or synthetic materials: acrylic and quartz. Each material has its own peculiarities in exploitation: cast iron is very durable, but it takes long time for warming up, steel is rumbling under the stream of water, ceramic can be broken at a careless handling, marble is durable and convenient, but it is expensive, while synthetic materials are beautiful, but need a special frame.
Modern shower can replace both shower and bath, and even a Turkish bath. Vertical massage is provided by water jets, which come from the atomizers: normal pressure for the system is 3-5 atm. In addition, the shower has the function of lymphatic drainage, chromo therapy, Turkish bath and even the audio connection and radio.
