Canna Tropicanna

Red, orange, and yellow stripes against a purple background make the tall leaves a colorful combination all on their own.
They’ve become a stopping point in our Long Border. Bright orange flowers fly like flags above the leaves. Cannas are tropical and subtropical bulbs from the Americas that are invaluable to the garden in summer and autumn. The flowers range from complex and colorful to simple and subtle, and their large leaves grow from 4-10ft. Provide a warm spot in sun (at least half a day) and regular watering. Rhizomes may be dug to spend winter indoors in cold climates. Perennial in Zones 7-10.
