Border Builder Hinges

Build a border for raised landscape beds, with no angle cuts…stackable too!

All you need are our exclusive border builder hinged-connector sets and your standard 2×6 or 2×8 lumber (actually measures 1-½”x5-½” and 1-½”x7-½” respectively)…no expensive, heavy railroad ties. Simply slide the hinges on the ends of your 2×6 or 2×8 boards, lay out the arrangement right where you want it, then drive the stakes in to secure the hinges! Stakes and connectors position your lumber at any angle between 90 degrees and 180 degrees, then you use soil, bark or rocks to create the “bed” within. Each stake (six included) is 12″ long overall; for higher beds, connectors may be stacked when using 2x6s, and you’ll need to use standard ½” pipe (0.840″ O.D.; not included) as stakes. Hinge is 5-¾” tall. Use one hinge at least every 4′. Durable polypropylene won’t decay, and the gray color “blends in” with weathered lumber; paintable. Patented. Set of six.
