A Big Mix of Little Alliums
Enjoy a parade of petite ornamental Onions from spring into summer. Flowers open sequentially in pink, purplish-pink, white, or yellow. This colorful group looks best along the edge of a shrub border or between the crowns of late-blooming perennials. The mix includes 5 different Alliums: A. moly, A. neapolitanum, A. oreophilum, A. roseum, and A. unifolium. The bulbs are inexpensive, so plant thickly for a superb show. Start with 10–15 per sq ft.
Alliums are largely immune to deer and voles. These petite species may self sow in your garden
