Stool Decorative Painting: Master Class
If you have a stool that you would like to paint beautifully, then you can do in by the master class, which I’ve found on the blog “MOD PORGE ROCKS”.
You’ll need paint (blue and white), from which we can mix several shades, as well as flat brush. If it is possible, get blue metallic paint, but you can treat without it. You will also need paper or vinyl lace doily for the stencil.
The first step is painting the stool in light blue color.
You must measure off equal distances on the chair cover with a ruler and paste a paper or an ordinary adhesive tape. Don’t overdo it, don’t press too hard, because the tape can torn off part of the paint.
Now paint the space through a strip of blue metallic paint or just of blue paint of a darker hue.
Remove sticky tape, here are dark stripes on the light background.
Once again paste the tape, this time with a shift, pasting part of dark stripe.
Paint with intermediate shade of blue.
When it dries, impose a towel and a brush or sponge to inflict another shade of blue.
Remove the towel. Here such a pattern turned out.
Side parts of the cover can also be painted in last used color.
Legs can be painted, to your taste, in several different shades of blue.
