One Glass for Every Drink: Utopik Design Lab Introduces Versatile Glass
Versatility comes into fashion. Agree that this is very useful when at one stroke you can solve some problems by using the same thing for different purposes with the same benefit and efficiency. Apparently, the designers from the French studio Utopik Design Lab came to the same conclusion by projecting universal glass One Glass for Every Drink. And to understand what its versatility is, minimal knowledge of English will be enough.
Initially, One Glass for Every Drink looks like a wine glass on a thin long stalk. But as the need arises, it can change both the height and shape, depending on what drink is going to pour into it.
So, if unscrewing a leg stand, you will get a glass of champagne. It is true, then it will not be put on the table, but it’s nuances. Unscrewing the same leg completely and replacing it with the original “tube”, you will get a glass of cognac, which can stand on a table, slightly tilted. And if you take out and “congestion”, we get a regular cup for mineral water or juice.
One glass for four drinks, the capacity for all occasions. Of course, this idea is not new, but the execution is worthy. At least, it looks real, and could easily turn from a concept into a real “live” and demanded thing.
