Black and white mystery
There is nothing alike taste and color: some prefer the bright and colorful flowers, and others – an elegant, classic and strong. But some consider black as a classic color, for others it’s terrible boring thing. The opinion of those who think white is a symbol of chastity and innocence, many consider outdated and banal. So what are actually these two colors: black and white? Are they inseparable parts of one whole, or the eternal “opponents”?
From a psychological point of view, black symbolizes courage and fortitude, and white – femininity and vulnerability. A striking example is the bride and the groom. From the standpoint of religion, black is the color of evil, sin and wickedness. They often speak about the bad man – a man with a black conscience, or a black soul. Accordingly, white is the symbol of innocence and purity. Maybe that is why they always portrayed devils in black, and angels in snow-white? From a medical point of view, white is a symbol of sterility and well-executed medical debt. And black is associated with disease and rotting. However, it is not so sad, from a commercial point of view: black is a symbol of practicality, and white – luxury. Mystical position: clothed in black like magicians, sorcerers and fortune-tellers, puffing on a mystery and inaccessibility. In white robes as you can see the clergy in the biggest Christian holiday – Easter. From a mathematical point of view, black is the question (a pen in a white notebook), and white is clear and unambiguous answer (in chalk on a blackboard). On the artistic side, black and white – are the two most harmonious colors, which are confirmed by highly drawings, photographs and masterpieces of cinema. And finally, from a philosophical point of view, a person’s life are filled with black and white stripes, as symbols of success and failure. Wonderful examples of the compatibility and full contrast of black and white in our lives are a lot.
Whether black and white will be combined in your clothes, interior design and life, you are the one to decide. But we should remember that it should not determine the stereotypes and prejudices and sense of taste and ability to see black and white harmony.
