Wolfgang Tschapeller Represents Design Of The Building Centre For Promotion Of Science
Centre for Promotion of Science is a centre for the Advancement of Science in Belgrade (Serbia) that is designed by Austrian architect Wolfgang Tschapeller. There will be an innovative and educational exhibitions, which are intended to convey the latest scientific discoveries and achievements of the general public.
The purpose of opening such a center is to promote science in education, online training, as well as contribute to the development social and economic growth in partnership with institutions such as the Ministry of Science and Technological Development and the Ministry of Education. There are plans to create a “knowledge bank”, which is available for a wide range of users.
Unusual building, a project that won the contest for the best deal the center is a “floating” high above the ground of constructive, which will operate in three main levels. Architectural “language” of the center is designed to reflect the state of modern technology and progressive structural principles.
Particular attention is paid to the authors of the project the lower the conceptual part of the center, which has a mirrored character, able to reflect the dynamics of the movement of visitors and the Earth’s surface. The underground part of the building settled a spacious car park and office-technical areas.
This “air” design provides an excellent “shell” for the results of advanced development and research and the desire to further their development.
