A room, designed for provision of the necessary facilities of a theater, should have a rectangular, better somehow elongated shape. If the room has a window, they need to tighten the thick curtains or blinds because the light of this premise, usually arranged without the use of natural lighting. At the same time, the presence of windows must be provided, albeit in a minimal amount in order to ventilate the room.
Coverage of home theater should be based on the principles of multilevel and multi-variant.
Multiple light sources, placed in different planes, will be preferable to a single chandelier in the center of the room, which can replace spotlights, providing diffused stream of light. The presence of floor lamps or sconces in remote corners of the screen space will create the necessary illumination during the session, and the use of local sources of light (desk lamps, lamps) will be an excellent solution for restricted areas (the coffee table, area projector).
In the creation of interior design for home theater, a lot of attention should be paid to textiles. Curtains, draperies and upholstery are a great tool for combining disparate objects into a single ensemble. In addition, the use of appropriate colors of textiles can bring to the interior of the mood – to diversify the environment or vice versa, to give it the appearance of classical rigor.
