Wall Decor In The Style of Province
When you create an interior in the style of Provence, the great attention should be paid to the design of the walls. Starting the decoration of the walls, try to imagine what your walls are, whether they are canvas or the background and try to recreate that feeling with soft strokes and gray-brown hues.
Use these tips to create province style walls!
In order to start finishing the walls in the cold season, you already should heat the cottage, dachas, as in a cold room plaster and paint will dry very slowly.
To create this effect you will need several colors of paint (two or more). Initially, you can paint the walls with a roller in a single tone. The second color should be applied only after the complete drying of the first.
There are two ways to help you create an uneven paint. You can apply the second tone of a sponge – it is at least a long time, but the effect will be very interesting. An easier way is also possible; tie a few rags with nodes on the roller as uneven as it’s possible. When painting with such roller, the paint will be like spots. Each subsequent layer of paint should be applied after drying the previous one.
Shades to paint the walls need to be chosen from beige and ocher to brick and terracotta. Colors should remind of old and weathered stone time. In order to avoid mistakes in color should first buy a small amount of paint and make the probe on the wall. If you have arranged everything, only then buy paint in large quantities.
