General recommendations will certainly help. They will help if you don’t know how to handle the plant before you decorate the house. The following tips, taken separately on horticultural crops, can also be useful.
• Tulips grow almost in every garden plot. Their colorful flower buds are pink, yellow, red, black, blue … It depends on the sort. However, watching their splendor, you just want to have them in your house. Therefore, you need to put them in a vase and not only. We recommend you to drop a few ice cubes into the water for the tulips. Procedure must be repeated periodically. Plants love the cold. You mustn’t change the water often.
• Lilacs are bush plants. Sometimes, people cut them too early and the flowers don’t blossom out. If you have suffered the same fate, drop the lilac into the warm water. This will speed up its flowering. Branches of lilacs always need fresh water.
• Cloves… If you want them to blossom beautifully for a long time, you should change the water regularly. Moreover, the buds should be continuously sprayed. You must also know how to trim the carnation. The cut should pass over the interstices. So, water will be retained longer in the plant.
• Tropical orchids perish from cold and plentiful water. You must heat the liquid for them. The base of the stem is cut daily for a couple of millimeters, as its foundation is rotting.
• Gerberas or poppies are different from the above mentioned plants. Their stems are filled with white juice, which is also called milk. If you cut gerberas, you can see how the white liquid flows out. Here you must apply the match and cauterize the base. Being sealed, it retains the liquid in the stem. After the procedure, the flowers should be dipped in a cold bath for a couple of hours.
• Violets are delicate flowers. It is almost impossible to prolong their life. However, experts recommend to omit flowers totally into the water for a minute, and then, to place them in a vase. The violets need to be often sprayed.
• Roses can be rescued from fading by the help of alternation of hot and cold water in the vase. Prior to that, they can be put, for six hours, in a bath filled with cool water.
