“Just A Bench” From Helena Baita, BaitaDesign
Professionally done makeup is practically invisible on the face. Qualitative colored gray hair is the same as natural one. The same applies to qualified design that focuses not on the work of the master, but the object that this master has created himself. And from this point of view, the project The Bench, or “just a bench”, made by the Brazilian author Helena Baita, can rightly be considered ideal.
Nevertheless, yes, it’s just a bench. At first glance. If we look more closely, “to parse” The Bench carefully, and make out in the truest sense of the word, and we will get a piece of furniture, and fascinating toy. Both adults and children can play with it.
Thus, the surface of the bench is lined with soft colorful tiled. But they will become colorful only if you take some of them out and turn them over. Bench was black, now it is black and white. Or just pure white as it pleases the owner of “just a bench.” And the bench can be decorated with geometric designs, laying the tiles out in a particular order. It’s simple and entertaining. That’s why, it’s “Just a bench”.
