Home Improvement: Choose the Best Shower
The size of bathrooms of typical Soviet apartments, as it is known, do not impress. Many Russians are compelled to stir washing machines either in vestibules, or in living rooms. Is it possible to convert a small bathroom so that not only to successfully place everything necessary, but also to make each visit to a bathroom an original pleasure for a body and soul?
It is possible, but for this purpose it is necessary to reject the bath. If you prefer a shower and are not a fan of lying in the hot water, shower cabin is what you need. Its basic advantage, certainly, is the size: a shower cabin occupies almost twice the smaller space, that of a standard bath. Thus a solid space for the sink, the washing machine, a bidet and so forth becomes available in your bathroom.
Now there are several types of sheltered spaces for taking a shower:
- Shower partition;
- Shower corner;
- Shower corner with the pallet;
- Shower cabin-box (walls can be made of glass or a glass and acryle combination);
- Shower cabin-box with a hydromassage;
- Shower cabin-box with a Turkish bath;
- Shower cabin-box with a hydromassage and a Turkish bath.
The shower partition represents the usual shower which is located in a corner of a bathroom and is fenced off from other premise by a partition. The partition is usually made from a brick or gypsum cardboard, and is then reverted with a tile.
The shower corner is the same, but instead of a partition there are two usual doors or the sliding ones on rollers made from glass or acryle. The doors, in their turn, can consist of several sectors, or from two shutter “corners”. Special rubber laths provide full tightness.
The shower cabin-box differs from the previous option by having a back wall and a roof besides doors. Thus, it is a completely independent construction which can be established anywhere (provided that there is a tap for water) to connect and use.
You need to take into consideration not only the appearance of the product, the occupied space and the price, but also certain consumer properties when choosing the optimal shower option. Ignoring the latter can lead to the fact that you will eventually have to change the doors, or the whole system. It is the case when you do not need to save.
