Carpets by Amu Batler

Amu Butler is a talented artist and designer. Very beautiful linens, curtains, pillows, bags, blankets and much more are created by her sketches. She is not afraid to experiment in her works, successfully combining vibrant color and technique of printing on fabric, creates real works of art. Carpets made by her sketches can be attributed to this category.

Amu Butler started working as a designer late in 1980 in Kansas City realizing her works through small boutiques and shops throughout the whole country. Amy draws inspiration for her career from her surroundings, that is family, friends, nature and just everyday life. She collects vintage fabrics and uses them in all her works. She loves flea markets and small shops. In search of new ideas she often travels abroad.

Together with her good friend Ravi from Atlanta, Amy has created a new line of products – carpets. These are handmade carpets made of 100% New Zealand wool. All of them are made based on sketches of Amu Butler. The carpets are available in 5’x 7’6 and 7’9 x 10’6 sizes.
