The Nutcracker Ballet Porcelain Musical Egg.

This heirloom-quality musical egg is reminiscent of the eggs crafted by Peter Carl Faberg from 1885-1917, and plays The Nutcracker Suite March from Tchaikovskys Nutcracker Suite on an 18-note key-wound musical movement. Open, the egg reveals a handpainted pewter centerpiece. The egg is crafted of lustrous triple-fired porcelain decorated with details including raised relief, 22K gold accents, and 100 hand-set faux jewels and Swarovski crystals. The base of the egg has an artwork panorama in the Russian Palekh black-lacquer technique by master Natalia Zaitseva and depicts Herr Drosselmeyer revealing the Nutcracker to Clara for the first time. Each egg is numbered and includes a certificate of authenticity. 5 3/4″ H x 4″ W. (11 oz.)
