This set of three of the ancient worlds most valuable treasures–gold, frankincense, and myrrh–comes in a dark-stained wooden box with a high-gloss finish offset by a brass latch and hinges. Its padded three-section red satin-lined interior holds a hand-blown crystal globe that contains flakes of 23 karat gold suspended in de-ionized water, tears of Hojary frankincense gathered from the resinous deposits of the Boswellia sacra tree in Oman and Yemen, considered the highest-quality available, and dark red crystals of myrrh harvested from the thorny branches of the Commiphora myrrha tree found on the Arabian peninsula, once valued at seven times its weight in gold.
