I simply love the artists introduction of this piece, they explain that after we have completed our painting we step back and commend the wooden board, for it silently offered its strength.

For me, the artists interpretation is enough to allow me to fully take in and enjoy this beautiful handmade oil on canvas. I believe that life has many obstacles in store for us, but our strength will be a testament to our will, and for the hope that in the end it was all worth it.
