Heated Floor Wire System
Heated floor wire systems make it easy to keep the floor warm beneath your feet. SunTouch WarmWire™ and the Warmup ® heating wire system works with special wires that lay on top of your subfloor to radiate heat.
SunTouch WarmWire™ provides an economical way to heat the floors and can be used for small powder rooms to rooms up to 240 square feet.
WarmWire™ easy installation allows you to adjust the wires to the size you need and secure them to a metal strapping above the subfloor. 120 volt alternating current (VAC) and 240 volt alternating current (VAC) wires are available. WarmWire™ uses a single-point connection and is protected with a stainless steel jacket. WarmWire™ is UL listed and has an ultra-low electromagnetic field. The Heating Wire System from Warmup ® is ideal for irregular shaped rooms and each order comes as a kit that includes the wire, primer, a roller, tape, an installation manual, and a thermostat for small rooms or master thermostats and relay units for larger rooms. A formula to determine the dimensions of your room has been added to each page to help make it easy to choose the right heated floor system for your home. Installation is so easy, almost anyone can do it in four steps: Coat the subfloor with primer, then you’re ready to lay the wires. Lay out the wires and tape them in position. Connect the thermostat. Apply adhesive over the floor and wires, then lay your floor. You should use a certified electrician for the wiring.
