A dramatic accent for the sunny garden or large container, Gold Bar is the most colorful Porcupine Grass we have ever grown. Each upright, spiky leaf is striped horizontally with brightest gold, creating an effect that is almost spotted on compact, symmetrical plants. You will find it the perfect contrast in color and texture to just about everything else in the sunny landscape. A very slow grower, this neat, mid-size Miscanthus never gets out of hand or looks rangy. Its foliage remains upright, elegant, and very symmetrical, with a deep green base and bold burgundy plumes in late fall.
