Mandevilla Laxa (Chilean Jasmine)

Chilean jasmine is a lovely deciduous vine covered in midsummer with large, white trumpet-shaped flowers that perfume the air with gardenia-like fragrance. Ultimately growing to 15 feet, its twining stems can be trained onto the arch, pillar, or trellis, and it makes a wonderful container plant for a partially shaded patio or deck. Pruned back, it can be moved indoors for the winter in northern climates.
