Wooden Decoration of the Interior

Modern technologies of harvesting and processing of wood can not only effectively emphasize the natural beauty of the material, but also provide all sorts of ways to protect wood from damage during installation and operation of the premises. Various impregnations, mastics, lacquers, stains and other means of protection of wood allow use of natural wood, even in high humidity or sudden temperature changes.

As a material for interior decoration, wood is very easily treatable. You can decorated it with carving and inlay, paint and varnish, burn pictures or make relief images, polish metal and other materials. Thus, wood will not lose its attractiveness and properties, but it will acquire a certain charm and will give the room a sparkle.

Fantasy of modern designers is not so strict, but today, in decoration of walls and ceilings of bedrooms, living rooms and nurseries wood is used very rarely. But in the hallways, kitchens and dining rooms, in the corridors wooden decoration is used quite often. Wooden stair rails decorated with artistic carvings, encrusted radiator gates and refined wooden cornices executed in single style look effective.

Wooden decoration doesn’t necessarily imply a complete edging walls or ceiling. Only partial dissemination of decorative wooden elements in the decoration of other modern or classical materials or creation of the space zoning effect is possible only due to partial wooden decoration of the room.
