Urban Oasis: “Green Oasis” For Relaxation
Architecture students from the University of Kookmin University (Seoul, South Korea), Kim Kyung-hwan, Bae Sung-eun, (Jang In-chul, and Park Jong-bin presented a project which aims to provide the most comfortable psychological environment for their visitors.
The structure and design of the building is aimed to create conditions for relaxation, both visually and functionally.
Beneficial and positive impact on the senses, that is the main challenge that architects have tried to solve, given the importance of the goal for the city’s residents.
Spacious, bright room with glazed gives a sense of space and relieve eyestrain, quiet area with plants refreshing, creating a favorable micro-climate and give a nice relaxing quiet, fresh air clears the mind. Fruits and vegetables that grow in the range of a skyscraper, are beneficial for the body and the pleasure of their taste, and “warm and sincere atmosphere, the authors of the project, becomes almost tangible.
In addition to green space, formed from plants, trees, and decks with this grass, which is repeated natural inclinations bumpy terrain, the building will be installed large aquariums and create favorable conditions for some wildlife species. It is hoped that this “green” project will still be funded and implemented, rather than remain at the stage of progressive vision.
