Towers “Filtering” Sounds Of Rome
The project of multipurpose complex Soundscape Towers, combining three of the futuristic skyscraper, was designed for the historical site, located in a dense urban fabric of neighborhoods of San Lorenzo in Rome (Italy). To make the lives of slum brighter, beautiful and harmonious, that is, according to the authors of the project, a goal that seeks to implement its vision.
Ultra-modern design and environment
According to the authors, Roman architects Alessandro Di Clemente, Martina Mattia and Carmen Pia Scarilli, ultra-modern design of buildings will not be too discordant with the future environment, as the housing of the area at the moment is a mixture of history and modernity, as the most of this part of the city was destroyed during the Second World War.
In general, the complex is a multipurpose structure, which includes residential apartments, offices, student housing, commercial space for shops, restaurants and pubs, post offices, pharmacies, museums, theaters and libraries, as well as such important recreational areas like parks and playgrounds.
But these fantastic facilities will have another very important purpose for the city – they weaken and absorb urban noise, like giant speakers that can filter out signals of sirens, vehicles and railway, screams and other disturbing sounds, turning them into a harmonious sound waves!
