“Staircase” Shelves from Danny Kuo

In general, the idea to keep things in the stairs is not new. Let’s take at least a library ladder in one of Victorian houses in London. But there it, first of all, is a staircase, and certainly, in the combination, it is a library.

But the Staircase by Danny Kuo, despite its name, first and foremost, is the same closet where you can store all sorts of necessary and not so necessary things. The staircase, in it, is designed for ease of use of this cabinet, but actually not for climbing it to the second floor of your home.

Staircase cabinet consists of nine drawers, each of which can serve as a stepping stone for the owner, who decided to get something from its upper part. For this you just need to push a few of the lower shelves and climb on them at the desired height.

Moreover, these shelves were originally created with the ability to be both shelves, and steps of this unusual staircase. That is in normal state, they are flat on top, in order you could safely stand on them. But the boxes themselves are hidden in them, you need to raise or open them separately.
