Spring Interior Decoration

Spring is a wonderful season, the time of renewal, rebirth and changes. And not only in nature! Many of us usually have an irresistible desire to change something, to let fresh air into our lives, and this also applies to house decoration.

We must start with a total “cleansing” of the territory. We should get rid of old things, junk, which not only reduce the space in our homes, but, according to the philosophy of feng shui, deprive us of the positive energy.

Therefore we should throw away all the unnecessary things, and set up all the necessary ones in order. In this process, the main thing is to act carefully, patiently and consistently. Try to thoroughly examine closets and cabinets, do not forget about the attic and cellar. The reward for your hard work and perseverance will be a refreshed home decor, mass of free space, a total order in the house and, of course, a good mood.

Furniture rearrangement is the next stage of renovation. By changing the location of only a few pieces of furniture, you’ll be able to give a completely different look to the room interior. Do not forget about some of the rules of the design: bulky furniture is better to be placed along the walls, and if the room is narrow and long, then the sofa, located across the room, will help to visually expand it.

Mirrors and paintings can play a very important role in upgrading the interior. By correctly placing the mirror, you can visually enlarge the room, create the effect of free space, and improve the lighting. But do not forget that it is not recommended to hang a mirror opposite the entrance door or bedroom. Not only paintings but also photographs, including your own, can become original decorations of the interior.

Textile always played one of the most important roles in the interior. Use bright blankets or decorative pillows to update the interior, giving it brilliance and individuality. Pillows, combined by color or texture with the other elements of textiles facilities, such as upholstered furniture, will look spectacular.

And, of course, a different color comes in spring. You can have drastic changes – re-paint one of the walls of the room. The color should be selected based on your preferences and colors of furniture or wallpaper. You can decorate the new wall with a nice picture or other element of interior decoration.
