Sigrid Stromgren And Sanna Lindstrom Introduce A “Flower”: Folding Table
Aren’t you yet tired of reading about all kinds of devices for the home, which help to save space in tiny apartments, and at the same time to decorate these apartments? In any case, designers are not tired to invent those devices, and therefore, the next creation is in this direction, a remarkable folding coffee table a la flower from the Swedish duo freelance designer Sigrid Stromgren and Sanna Lindstrom.
The designed table was named Grand central, probably because in dismantled type, it is perfectly cope with the “central” role of a table for drinking tea, coffee and other drinks, or for serving a light breakfast for two. And no one will suspect this piece of furniture that it may look a bit unusual for a decent table.
It is slightly unusual, when the owners decide to remove the table out of sight, so it does not bother to move around the apartment, it is small by default. Thus, tabletop device consists of 18 segment-“puzzles”, and if necessary they can be folded pile, and then a large table becomes a little stand under the bowl, but it can also be pushed for a cabinet or under the sofa. Or else, you can design out of these segments a decorative piece of furniture resembling a half-open flower. And then, it will not be a table but some shelve, or even stand under a bowl, but it will look more than the original stand.
