Robert Stadler offers Abstract Furniture Royèroid
An Austrian designer Robert Stadler, interested in topic of volcanic eruption Eyafyatlayokudlya, this time found his inspiration in the work of French designer Jean Royère. Named on behalf of the designer, the collection Royèroid was inspiration furniture in 50-60s for Ours Polaire, made by Jean Royer in the late 40’s.
According to Stadler, he continued and developed the idea of Jean Royer, who craved to design some abstract furniture out of very traditional furniture objects. According to an Austrian designer, Royer wanted to turn furniture into functional sculpture, possessing excellent ergonomic qualities.
Paying tribute to the creativity of Jean Royer, Robert Stadler continued to search for abstract forms, making the objects of his collection in black monoliths. The designer marked out the seat and the conditional place for armrests in gray. By the way, in the selection of upholstery, the designer oriented to the source, using a very soft fluffy material.
