Since the 1980 Nani Marquina has been one of the leading pioneers of rug design in the West, bringing her superb sense of color and texture, along with her humane sense of warmth, to her rug designs.

As part of DWR’s commitment to expand the range of modernist solutions for today’s floors, we are introducing new area rugs by Marquina that can add a dimension of natural beauty and character into your environment and are especially suited to bedrooms, baths, living and dining rooms.

Marquina, who studied industrial design at Escola Massana in Spain and strives for both surprise and peacefulness in her pieces, found inspiration for her Roses rug in the fallen petals of the flower.
