Romantic Marine Style in the Interior Design

Many Americans and Europeans have the opportunity either to purchase or rent a summer residence on the coast. They even have interior style, which is called coastal style. So, the Marine style. The blue distance, white clouds, emerald expanse of the sea, the surf, sand or gravel, shells washed up on shore… Romance! These very details, their styling, borrowing chosen colors create our romantic marine interior.

The main colors of this style are white, blue, deep blue, sand, straw, coral. From the combination of elements in these colors you can get the Marine style. Interior in nautical style is often decorated with “Sea Treasures”, for example, seashells, starfish, coral, pearls, amber which are sand mound in a different capacity. On the walls you may hang photos or paintings in the theme of the sea. Garden furniture made of rattan, wicker and straw texture mat can also be used in the interior.

Marine style is good for almost all interior rooms, for living room, kitchen, bathroom and nursery, thus, any interior will benefit, if you decorate it in this style. For example, a bathroom in marine style may look like tis way; white sanitary ware, blue and deep blue tile, carpet matting on the floor, braided or decorated interlaced shelves, blue towel. Shower curtains in marine theme, that is with fish or marine life, on the shelves there can be all sorts of shells, corals and sea stars.
