Roman Luxury And Italian Renaissance Tradition
In autumn 2010, in the largest showroom of Italian doors “Lendor”, in Moscow, a presentation of two new collections of Flex factory was hosted. The event was attended by leading architects and designers from around the world. New gadget of 2010 was introduced to the guests by the co-owner of the factory and export director Cristiano Pratella.
The collection “I Laccati” is based on the found in the archives of architectural sketches and sketches of the Italian Renaissance. “The solemn and elegant style of “I Laccati” is associated with air, light and vibrant colors”, – said Mr. Pratella. The elements of decor of the collection are carved, painted bubble, and stained glass, as well as all the details of doors Flex, manufactured by hand by the old masters of technology. For example, for painting, a technique was used, invented by Michelangelo in 1500.
The collection includes 18 basic models. However, due to the interchangeability of the elements everyone can create for himself a unique example of a style of Italian classicism.
Luxury Collection “Domus Aurea” is also closely linked with the history of Italy. “The monumental style of these doors reminds of ancient villas of emperors. The name itself «Domus Aurea» comes from the name of the famous palace of the Roman ruler Nero – “Golden House”, which is famous for rich decoration and trim – has been told by a leading specialist Oksana Osipyants from the company “Lendor”. And all the doors of a new collection of have women’s names of important persons who played a prominent role in the history of the Empire”.
Mandatory attributes of models in this collection are carved, gold leaf and silver, chased and inlaid. Caps, trims, plinths, ceiling made of precious wood. Each door “of Domus Aurea” is literally breathing luxury.
