Red Color in Interior Design
Interior design in pure red is a bold choice, few people are able to make such a decision. Those who seriously think about such a possibility must remember about the irritating influence of this color, as well as the fact that it visually reduces the space of the premises. However, the red room with red furniture and red accessories looks really festive, beautiful and very original. If the room, performed in red blooms, is not used too often, it can become the highlight of your apartment.
There is much more common variant of design, in which the red is combined with other colors in equal proportions. You may have very successful combination with shades of white, for example, red furniture on white background room creates an impression of functionality, minimalism and inimitable style. The combination of three colors; red, white and black can be called classic. The combinations of red and blue, green or yellow flowers are more daring, but modern and fully entitled to life.
And, finally, you can express your love to red through some elements of decor. Flashy decorations like original vases, wall clocks, screens or lamps will adorn even the dull interior.
Red color may predominate in the interior or may be almost imperceptible, but be sure that it will create the room atmosphere. A fine line separates good mood from irritating effects. But if you focus on your feelings, this border will never be broken, and the atmosphere of your red or reddish room will be warm and positive.
