The modern receives high right to form living space right at the beginning of the new century. Exterior reflected the particular form of the interior. Universal style made the interior artistic. The walls are decorated with a cloth, on which the motives of vegetable ornament, the current line veil decorated with wooden panels and doorways were sparkled. Flexible columns joined floor and ceiling into a unified picture.
Synthesis, the organic union of ideas in a comfortable and modern interior is the main and most significant feature of modernity. Through what the image of progressive interior is achieved? Here we see a rich variety of subjects. Cabinets and cupboards, sofas and fireplaces, all these are freely and naturally, and often architecturally. Japanese motifs enrich pattern with iridescent silver, purple, pale-green shades.
The broad popularity of the style is explained by the fact that it could apply any strata of society. The material from which the furniture is made, had free range. Eastern and Western philosophy perceived the Modern differently. If the decorative arts are dominated in France, then in Russia, first of all, the specialists were working on a rational design. It happened to be not so nice, but cost-effective. Here the progressive humankind finds both the simplicity and convenience for itself. And the originality of the style can only envy, as each piece is special and requires strict compliance with the original.
