Mexican Style of Interior Design
Mexican style was originated in ancient times, during the Toltec Indians, from who the Mexicans came. Many legends and mystical events are associated with the era of the tribe. Part of the Toltec culture even today is seen in the interior design of Mexicans. Of course, other peoples also had influence on the style of Mexican interior design. Later, Frenchmen, Spanish and Americans came to Mexico. However, due to Toltec Mexican interior design attracts us with its primitive and some mysterious aura.
If we pay attention to the Mexican houses, we’ll see interesting interiors. On the floor we can see carpets made from palm fibers. Rooms are decorated with chairs, tables, beds made of pig skin and unusual woods. The exterior differs by the revetment of brown stone and tile roof. Enclosed patios of Mexicans are often decorated with painted statues. In the recesses of houses there is the tableware.
Many houses differ by their colorful shades. Mexicans believe that the colored tiles on the facade of the building symbolize the welfare of the owners. Except for bright revetment material, garlands of live plants are involved in the design of the entrance to the house, as a rule, they are curling representatives of flora. In every city in Mexico, homes are made in different colors. In the capital you can see the structures with a predominance of red and gray colors. The Saketakas city is like the sun, since its walls are mostly painted in yellow, sand colors.
