As the bride is dressed in snow-white dress, the designers decorate the interior in all white. This doesn’t happen always, as bright “clothing” is rather exception than rule. However, you can meet snow-white decors. It looks fantastic, while it can not be compared with the hospital. Conversely bright interior creates a wonderful atmosphere of purity and festivity. At all times, white was held in high esteem. It was used in rituals against evil spirits. The white was used in all the important events of human life and not just in weddings. Babies were wrapped in white cloths, white was present in the ritual of the funeral, as the death was considered a happy event in the transition to a new level. Amulets against evil eye and spoilage were made of white stones. This color was the symbol of moral and emotional state of a human being, so the white signified purity, goodness and divine beginning.
Modern psychologists know psychological aspects of white, as well. Like all other shades, it has a positive effect on efficiency, on thermal sensation and on the mood. The main quality of white is the symbolization of basis and beginning. Thus, people, picking up a blank sheet of paper, feel as if they are standing on the threshold of something new in the way of change. However, snow-white interior affects not only the psycho – emotional state.
