Jewelry Tale On Place Vendome
In preparation for its centennial anniversary, the owners of the famous jewelry house Van Cleef & Arpels decided to change the classic interior of their Paris boutique on the Place Vendome, 22. For the Diamond family Van Cleef & Arpels, this salon has a special place: it was since its opening in 1906, it began a glorious history of jewelry house. To perform a complex task, the change of the internal decor of this historic boutique was invited by a young French designer Patrick Jouin.
Created by him a creamy beige extravaganza of luxury, the elegance and refinement are worthy of the masterpieces created by the masters of jewelry house Van Cleef & Arpels. Elements of the Baroque, modern, minimalist are harmoniously together in this ensemble. Executed on a thin plaster frieze from whimsically woven stems remind of the best examples of Art Nouveau: oak panels with exquisite carvings, white refined furniture of minimalist design, luxury chandelier that falls down with cascades of glass balls, chased a panel covered with large flowers of roses from top to bottom. All these are subordinated to the task to create a fantastic space, intended to be a frame for the best examples of jewelry. The designer settled this fabulous world with beautiful winged fairies, silently gazing at the open to them grandeur.
