Japanese Style In Interior Design

Japan is a country of the rising sun and the eternal search for the harmony of life and communion with nature. Growing interest in the culture of this country has caused the emergence of the Japanese style of interior design. This style is characterized by simplicity, elegance and functionality. In the regeneration of its home, Japanese use four concepts, which in their opinion, reflect the essence of beauty: sabi, wabi, Shibuya and yugen. Only by understanding these concepts you will understand the Japanese style of interior.

Japanese style is the perfect combination of colors and forms of content.

Sabi means natural beauty, which put its stamp time. The Japanese believe that the older the thing is, the more expensive it is.

Wabi means a lack of splendor, the beauty of modesty and simplicity. The house should be furnished practical, functional, without any frills about furniture and decor.

Shibuya – it’s the natural beauty of the material from which the item is manufactured, as well as the beauty of the destination of the product.

Finally, yugen means inner beauty item, the beauty, which does not seek out. This is the beauty of what reading between the lines, the ability to hear the unspoken, and see the invisible.

In the arrangement of their homes by the Japanese, these four concepts are followed.  Color gamut of internal space in the Japanese style is the natural quiet tone: white, cream, milk, beige. In such interior to distract attention, space is distributed safely and distinct, it has to rest, restore vital energy.
