Inexpensive And Very “Striped”: 3GATTI Architecture Studio Represents Cocktail bar ZeBar
ZeBar is a restaurant in Shanghai (China), where you can enjoy a cocktail, having received pleasure from the unconventional atmosphere and live music. This is a unique place, the result of a digital 3D-modeling that allows to have an incredibly low-budget construction.
The idea of opening “striped” bar with live music belongs to the Singapore director and former musician. To implement his plan, he invited a team of specialists from the Italian architectural studio 3GATTI Architecture Studio.
Using an intriguing game of shapes and shadows to get the “striped” effect is reminiscent of a zebra skin, the sponsors have divided the space into “fragments”, separate compartments, combined, nevertheless, a common space.
Considerably simplified the task of “stencil” of form and ease of execution to continue drawing the walls on the floor – a move sufficiently original and self-contained, i.e. does not require extra “decorations” in the form of expensive finishes and decorative elements.
Construction and design of the relief structure have been carried out within a few months, however, not having a good business plan, the owners of the establishments did not open it for several years. And then, finally, came the very long-awaited moment when “all the stars came together! Music bar ZeBar was opened just a few days ago, on the eve of New Year.
