House Decorations for Halloween

Samhain or Halloween is the main holiday of the Celtic New Year. Autumn is a wonderfully bright and colorful time of the year. It’s time to decorate your house with original holiday ornaments.

Here we’ll describe such ornaments on Halloween (Samhain), which you can do with your hands.

Wreath for Halloween

To create that wreath you will need:

Ready wreath made of vine

5 apples (you can buy wax, plastic or natural apples)

1 or 3artificial sunflower

Raffia

Ribbon in “autumn” colors (for example orange).

Take the ribbon of sufficient length for the star. Place it on the wreath so as to obtain a star shape. Attach the top stars to the wreath with raffia. The remaining rays of the star can also be attached with raffia or with the help of apples. Usually, artificial apples already have the wire to be easier to mount. If not, then just take a wire and pin the apples on it. You can use glue if you want the apple firmly holds on the wire. Now, simply insert the apples in the wreath. Wrap raffia wreath as in the photo. Several bands or strands of raffia should come down the wreath. Insert sunflowers in the wreath. Your wreath is ready for Halloween!

Autumn Wreath

This original wreath can be done very easily.

For the basis you can use a ready-made square-shaped wreath made of twigs, or just an ordinary photo frame. To decorate the wreath you can use dried grass, leaves, fallen from the trees, artificial flowers. Using raffia or double adhesive ribbon (so reliable) attach the tufts of grass, leaves, trees to the base. If you use aromatic herbs, your wreath will only benefit. It may be mint, lavender, etc. By the way, if you haven’t stocked up with dry grass in the summer, it doesn’t matter. You can cheat, buying the same mint in the supermarket and dry it in the house.
