Halloween Outdoor Decor
Halloween is one of the few foreign holidays that have taken root in our country. Only on this day you can shamelessly give candy-bats to people who you do really don’t like. Or hanging cobwebs on the table with the captain. Or spilling on the floor of a pool of blood (tomato juice). And it’s a good excuse to practice in decorating their own homes. Without the horror, but with a fair amount of humor!
What’s Halloween without pumpkins? Huge lanterns with slits in the form of mouth-grin give the neighbor kids! Halloween pumpkins can be decorated with intricate ornaments stenciled. If you do not skip drawing classes at school, draw something non-standard “by hand”: web, zebra skin, or a funny face.
House begins with a threshold, so do not forget to decorate the front door!
Why not to celebrate Halloween “in full program”: invite guests, decorate the whole house! Let’s start from the front door. Weave a wreath of dry twigs, garnish with berries of mountain ash, good mark of Halloween on Oct. 30, when there is plenty of material in the woods. Light the paper lanterns: to put ink drawings or black marker on them is easy.
Decorate everything in the house – mirrors, candle holders, curtains, then you will achieve the effect of “total immersion” into a celebration.
Invite guests to the house and watch the reaction. Subdued light of the black-black candlesticks, web on the couch, holders for curtains in the form of a skeleton, bloody streaks in the mirror, glass sculptures of skeletons and of course the Halloween pumpkin on the table… On the backs of guests already runs chill, but everything is just starting….
Chandeliers in the form of pumpkins or ghosts glowing in the dark – the guests certainly do not expect to see this!
The main thing is to turn in the sides (if you have not decided to escape, of course) and look up. Designers have tried and come up with chandeliers in the form of pumpkins, ghosts and glowing cats. You don’t like such ostentatious decor? You can limit the “Gothic-themed”: this can be achieved by chandeliers made of black glass.
Dishes for the holiday table can be done by yourself by simply drawing a skull marker for ceramics plates and glasses.
Seems to be enough to intimidate visitors, it’s time to call everyone to the table! You did not just cover it with a white cloth, and serve a front-service! Tear the tablecloth in tatters, change the set to orange and black plates, pour into glasses, blood-red tomato juice. Indispensable attribute of a witches coven – candles in the form of skulls and crosses, vases.
