Flos Launched Unusual Wall Piercing Lights

Freedom of thought, freedom of speech, freedom of expression – and every time in the streets you meet originally dressed young people with colored hair, completely covered with tattoos and studded with piercings. I don’t want to leg behind life, the Italian company Flos decided to join the fashion and presented the unusual lights in the form of body piercing, designed for walls at the famous Milanese exhibition Salone Internazionale del Mobile. The project is called Wall Piercing Lights.

Numerous rings, reminding of earrings that liberated the youth put in the navel, nose and eyebrows, are attached to the surface of any kind of wall, then it is rotated under any angle, and give directional ray, or more precisely, a spot of light in the place where the ring is exactly installed. But how exactly are mounted rings to the wall, the author and the producer of the maps decided not to specify.

The small size and compactness of the Wall Piercing Lights allows you to create one complete composition, and even ornaments, which will serve as interior decoration, and lighting. Of course, a weak one. On the other hand, it is quite original. Anyhow, for lighting, there are other lamps, but these one is to create a comfortable, relaxing and perhaps even an intimate atmosphere.

If frankly, this piercing for a wall somehow reminds of illumination, which is set on the streets in front of billboards to be clearly visible at night and in the evening. But if you install such lighting in art galleries, or next to the “zest” of the interior, where you want to put emphases then the effect will be stunning.
