Feng Shui: Windows in the House
In feng shui special attention is paid to windows. The windows are the “eyes” in the house. It is therefore very important to keep these “eyes” untroubled. Dirty glasses of windows make it difficult the penetration of the positive chi energy. You should clean the windows in your house at least twice a year if you want the chi energy to easily penetrate into your house. And if you live on the ground floor, then it should be done more frequently. Do not forget about ventilation of the apartment.
It is not very good if the windows in your apartment are located opposite the door, as in this case the flow of chi energy is too fleeting. But not all of us will decide to remodel their apartment. And it is not necessary. In such cases it is recommended to hang “music of the wind” in a room on the line from the door to the window or place a screen. The so-called resting subjects -various sculptures or vases -adjust fairly well the fast flow of chi.
Of great importance is in what direction of light the windows of your apartment faces. The most favorable are the windows facing east, as in this case you can watch the sunset and get inspired by positive energy. It is important to remember that the windowsills are not worth encumbering.
If the paint on your wooden windows has peeled off, clean the frames from the old paint, polish the surface of the windows and paint again. This is done not only to give the windows a fresh look, but also for that no negative sha energy accumulates in the cracks. If the glass of the window has been cracked, replace it with a new one by all means.
Do not unnecessarily place lattices of the window, as they are an obstacle for the penetration of chi energy and a source of negative energy. However, if you cannot do without lattices, you can at least try to make them less visible. But you’d better place shockproof glass on the windows.
It is also very important to consider what is outside. It is desirable that the windows of your apartment face the courtyard, where trees grow, where there is a small park or even a river. However, if the windows of your apartment face pipes of a factory, garbage or a transformer booth, it is better to curtain such windows to a certain extent, in order to prevent the flow of negative energy penetrating into the house.
