Decorative Vases: Master Class
This beautiful vase with a touch of antiquity can be made by very simple technology, which will be described in details in this master class.
For the work you will need: glass cup or vase, PVA glue, hot glue or acrylic to create a terrain contour, thin paper, brush, two colors; white and dark contrast to it.
A simple beer glass with capacity of 0.5 liters was the basis of the vase.
The author was inspired by the image of threefold lily, but you can use some other figure for the basis.
You must draw a picture on paper and insert the picture in the vase.
The author filled picture with the hot glue from a gun. If you don’t have such a device, you can use the contour of acrylic or thick acrylic, the main thing is that at drying out the drawing should be protuberant.
Thin paper must be cut into pieces of about 5×5 cm and rumpled.
The vase must be paste over crumpled paper, PVA glue, then you must coat it with PVA glue from both sides.
After the paper dries, the vase must be painted in white or in any light color.
And when the light paint dries you can gently rub dark paint with dry brush. You can also use acrylic pearl, silver or gold. Gold on a dark background will look very good. The same experiment can be done with any bottle, turning it into a vase.
