Daydreamer: Roly-Poly Sofa-Construction
If one roly-poly is enough for an average fox to satisfy the hunger for a long time, then the average designer will need much more Roly-Polies. It’s not for eating, but for the good of the cause, namely, to make a great sofa-construction named Daydreamer. This is a project of Korean designers Cheng-Tsung Feng and Kai-Ting Lin, about what the discussion will be.
Sofa, made up of dozens of round white pillows, seems impractical and unnecessary to the invention. Well, why should we bring another object to house, which will become dirty very often and collect dust, requiring almost daily washing and vacuum cleaning? But the designers considered everything.
Thus, each ball is made of fabric and foam, and packaged in a removable cover made from faux fur, fastened with a zipper. And it will be easy to remove and wash if necessary. In addition, these soft round pillows, arranging them in a certain way in the frame, you can make a comfortable bed, where you can place five to seven people, or it can serve as a sofa, and even a large comfortable armchair.
By the way, judging by the illustrations shown in photo gallery of the device, Daydreamer is so durable sofa, that it can not only dream but you also do yoga and jumping. It’s magnificent device!
