Interior Design: Color Combinations for Babies
Baby is the most significant event in your life! His/her voice is the most sonorous, and he has the clearest eyes. When you start designing the nursery interior, you certainly want to express your joy “in color”.
Your first spiritual movement may be the choice in the direction of dark-blue ceiling, yellow floor and red walls, since, in opinion of the famous psychologist and theorist Max Luscher, these colors have active and positive affect on child’s psychology. Yes, perhaps it is so, but everything has its own measure.
Designers of children’s rooms offer you furniture and accessories for any taste. Moreover, if you want, you can find interior design for the boy’s room, which is done in combination of red and black. Do not approach this issue so dramatically, because the designers can offer you want. Of course the kid brings joy, and the fact that now he has a separate room is one more pleasant event.
Thinking about the colors for the nursery, give preference to lighter shades of any color you like: intense shades of any color are tiring and even oppressing (or annoying), depending on the kind of color you have in your mind. Thus, purple can negatively affect on mood, and when it is combined with brown, it can simply oppress. If you really like this combination, ask designers to clear up those colors to the maximum. Avoid contradictory combinations, especially when both colors are very intense. Thus, the combination of bright blue with yellow, red or green can provoke emotional instability in child. Large areas of bright yellow are stimulating and irritating, no matter how nice the color may seem. Well, what concerns the red-black room, we can say that it is a risky experiment. This color combination alarms and operates uniquely depressing.
Bright colors, only in small doses, have positive and tonic affect. Having pastel range of the child’s room, you can safely fill it with toys and accessories, juicy colors, as bright, as you only want to!
