Coffee Table from Joel Yatscoff

Nowadays combinations of incongruous things are very fashionable. I mean the union of the product of two different styles contradicting each other. Oxymoron in Greek means acute stupidity; term for a style of deliberate combination of contradictory notions.

Nevertheless “oxymoron” in interior design, recently, pleases the eye with combinations of disparate images. For example, in the project of Canadian designer Joel Yatscoff there is a Bow Coffee Table which evokes associations of an earthquake in the desert. But this “desert” is made of steel.

In general, the idea of creating Bow Coffee Table occurred to the talented artist during the contemplation of view from the plane.
