Bricks & Mortar: Upholstered Furniture
Being of sound mind, someone will hardly use the adjective “soft” in relation to the brick or stone. But here it is, a collection of upholstered furniture from Bricks & Mortar, which look like as if it is made in building area, and not in the furniture workshop. However, I am sure that to sit on these pouffes, sofas and armchairs are actually easier than it might seem!
Authors of this unexpected design are British inventors Richard Woods and Sebastian Wrong. They decided that how the first impression is too deceptive, it would be interesting if this thing seems to stir up and strengthen with the associations. For example, who would expect a chair that looks like a brick wall, is soft and comfortable, and that it’s wonderful curl up on brick couch in front of a TV or with an interesting book in hands?
I’m sure many will say that such upholstery makes the furniture uncomfortable and cold, that when looking at it, there is absolutely no desire to sit down and relax. But nothing ventured, nothing gained. So the slogan of this collection could easily become the phrase “this is not what you think”, or one saying of not less popular “do trust your eyes”.
By the way, brick upholstered furniture is already on offer, and is available in several colors. Find details and additional information in site of the manufacturer.
