JAJA Architcts Introduce Moon Bridge
Danish architectural studio JAJA Architcts offered bridge project, which aims to combine the two parts of the waterfront city of Kaohsiung in Taiwan and become a major cultural center of the metropolis. “Moon Bridge” is perfectly formed along the banks of the river, connecting them and creating a unique modern coastal landscape.
The project Of A Multi-Purpose Infrastructure
Smooth undulating architectural forms characteristic of the projects developed by the studio. Do you remember the building, “the worm”, which we once wrote in previous publications?
At this time, the new U-shaped object, including multi-cultural public programs, will become the backbone of the city, which will be located along the river parks, businesses, boutiques, cafes and places for cultural activities. Culture Center will be located directly in the side overlooking the River.
Also, the new infrastructure involves the formation of a new modern harbor. The bridge will serve as a beautiful panoramic area, where strollers can watch the views of the city, river and harbor.
Moon Bridge will not only become a multi-purpose infrastructure, but, thanks to its unique architecture, a landmark for the city orientator, which will definitely attract the attention of tourists from different countries. Large-scale facility will operate year-round.
