Little Introduces Unique Exoskeleton For “Green” Cultural Center
To participate in international competition Taiwan Tower International Design Competition, American architectural studio Little has developed an innovative project of a skyscraper that has landmark, historical, cultural and environmental importance for the city of Taichung (Taiwan).
More recently, we have already written about one of the participants in this competition a futuristic design from the architect of Austria Steven Ma.
Developed by its American counterparts, the building is a distinctive exoskeleton that supports various functional platforms located at different levels. Appearance of the impressive structure mimics the local mountains Dadu. Skyscraper, with 368 meters in height includes lush green gardens that contribute to cleaning the air and creating a favorable climate for the residents of the city. The building has a dome with a photoelectric cell, as well as other stable and progressive technologies.
Under the terms of the competition, multi-purpose complex includes a museum, telling about the past, present and future of Taiwan, and offers visitors wonderful views of the city and the surrounding landscape.
