Futuristic Kitchen Design from Faltazi
The French company Faltazi offers ultra-modern, futuristic and shocking kitchen eco-design Ekokook. According to the authors, the use of “green” systems will improve health of the users and the microclimate inside the house and the ecological environment on the planet as a whole.
Kitchen is the most active “producer” of garbage and wastes in the house, so the minimalist design Ekokook, except built-in refrigerators, dishwashers, steam cookers, hob, induction cookers, gas burners and funny hanging storage systems, “disguised” under flower pots, are provided with powerful cleaning system, filtration and waste management.
In housing there are built in special arrangements with such unusual elements, as a steel ball which is required for grinding broken glass, cutter for waste paper, forming them into pellets, as well as a mechanism to squeeze various cans and plastic bottles.
Under the built-in double sink countertop there is a system with recycling mechanism, which distributes the used, cleaned and assembled (in special jugs) water for vegetation which is integrated into the unusual kitchen design, or for cooking in the steam cooker. According to the authors of the eco-kitchen, it was established that due to the distribution, you can save 15 liters of water in a day.
The presence of plants and the use of effective methods of processing and cooking will undoubtedly contribute to a healthy lifestyle of the hosts.
And now, attention! The promised shock! Organic waste here is processed by very real earthworms! In the third compartment there is a continuously rotating drum, which helps the worms to uniformly process the perishable organic waste. After three months of this treatment, waste is turned into fertilizer for all of the same plants, accumulating in a small drawer, which is located under the drum. I’ll risk to suppose that not many people, even the most conscious representatives of eco-friendly and healthy lifestyle will agree to use these innovations at home.
