Foster + Partners Introduces New Zayed National Mueum
The project of the new building within the bounds of the National Museum Zayed National Mueum in Abu Dhabi has developed a well-known to us by previous publications, the British architectural studio Foster Partners.
Futuristic building of the museum is intended to be a central element of the existing cultural center telling the story of the country and showcasing the latest advances in cultural, social and economic transformations.
The Project Of The New Building Within Zayed National Mueum
The new design is conceived as a monument and a memorial for the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. Scheme of the building consists of five solar towers, refrigerated natural air currents.
This unusual design in the form of bird feathers was a conceptual expression of passion of sheik falconry.
Project authors note that they have developed the building that will become a model of environmentally sustainable design that is worthy of resonance relations Sheikh Zayed to the nature and care about it.
On our site, we have already talked about the eco-project by Foster Partners Lusail Iconic Stadium and other, no less progressive development of this innovative studio.
